Introduction
Rock FM is a media house based in Mbeya dealing with promoting young people aged 18 to 45 years old, educating the community, informing the society and bridging the gap from unknown to known information to people. Entertaining and helping business people and organisation to bring their products and services to the public. Promoting is our fundamental basic of the core of our operations, we believe information is power so as knowledge.


The Station was established in 2010 with 10 professional personnel, that's includes marketing and promotion, administration, finance and Technical team. We started slowly by having approximately 10% listeners, but growing surely to approximately 68% of the Region. Mbeya rigion is approximately to have more than 3,000,000 population and only more than 500,000 people live in urban.


96.9 Rock FM currently coverage is the South Highland Zone and neibouring Regions, villages and its border . We have generator set and Huge UPS to take care of the power blackout, our office is located at New Forest on Tunduma road near JM Petrol Station.


Editorial policy
The genaral description of the focus of editorial policy is to maintain the professionalism, ethics, vision, put the journalist in line. Also public education, best practices, peer review, leadership, statistical, personnel, facilities and quality information in accuracy manner and balanced.


The targeted audiences are farmers, workers, civil servants, young cooperates, students, business people and the whole society as well. The expected outcomes and achievements are to run smooth, quality management, improved, better understanding the work and environment, mutual understanding between management, workers and our listeners.


Anti-Bribery and Corruption policy
It is Rock FM policy to conduct all of our work in an honest and ethical manner. We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and in the promotion of the National Goals.


Any Rock FM employee who breaches this policy will face disciplinary action, which could result in dismissal for gross misconduct. Any non-employee who breaches this policy (or we have reasonable suspicion to believe this is the case) may have their contract terminated with immediate effect. This policy does not form part of any employee's contract of employment and we may amend it at any time.
